Just when I think I can’t be more envious of the fun kids are having at our Summer Reading programs, the librarians plan a bubble program. Bubbles, people! Big Bubbles. Kids used various wands, including some they made themselves, and had fun seeing just how big the bubbles could get. One bubble was so big that we were able to snap a distinct photo of it well above the roof of the library.
Throughout May and the first part of June, we shared photos of library staff members “caught” reading. Even though Summer Reading is now done, we still have lots of photos of kids having fun at the library to share! In addition to encouraging kids to read over the summer months, ACPL offers a variety of associated activities, offering every child educational opportunities throughout the year.
